[Actual vehicle guide]
The C57 class was a passenger steam locomotive that was introduced as a successor to the C55 class, and was active on main and sub-main lines throughout the country.
Steam locomotives, which had been the main source of power since the opening of the railway on October 14, 1872, became less common after the modernization of power sources after the war, and finally disappeared from pulling passenger trains on December 14, 1975, with the 225 train on the Muroran Main Line being the last.
The last steam locomotive-hauled passenger train of the Japanese National Railways was the C57 class, and on that day, the C57-135 pulled the 225 train, which was made up of eight passenger cars, four more than the standard, with a headmark attached.
On December 24 of the same year, the last freight train hauled by a steam locomotive was operated on the Yubari Line. On March 2nd the following year, 1976, the 9600 series ceased shunting work within the Oiwake Station yard, and all commercial steam locomotives except for preserved locomotives were retired, achieving the modernization of the power source.

This is a reproduction of the 225 train, the last steam locomotive-hauled passenger train of the Japanese National Railways, which ran between Muroran and Iwamizawa on the Muroran Main Line on December 14, 1975, and was pulled by a C57-135.
The Oha 35-714 with its narrow gabled roof is reproduced with a new production.
The Ohafu 62 has a wooden door on the conductor's side and a large window, reproduced from scratch.
All carriages feature double-glazed passenger windows
Only Oha 35-714 is painted blue, while the others are painted brown.

The taillights are equipped with a constant light board and an ON-OFF switch.
