A six-wheeled vehicle with a frame antenna – a truly unique design.
This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Sd.Kfz.232, a wheeled armored vehicle with an armored radio, developed and operated by the German army during World War II.

[About the actual vehicle]
In the early stages of World War II, the German army employed a highly mobile blitzkrieg strategy, where coordination between units was essential for efficient operation. One vehicle that played a crucial role in this was the Sd.Kfz.232 6-wheeled armored radio car.
It was developed based on the six-wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicle Sd.Kfz.231 and was equipped with a Fu.11 radio inside the vehicle.
For this radio, a large frame antenna was mounted on the upper part of the hull and turret, supported by struts.
The same chassis as the Sd.Kfz.231 was developed based on the chassis of a civilian six-wheeled truck, and the hull was made of angled armor plates joined together by welding on top of the chassis.
The hull was equipped with a rotating turret, and its primary armament consisted of one 2cm KwK30 and its secondary armament of one 7.92mm MG13.
It proved invaluable on the battlefield by demonstrating its long-distance communication capabilities.

[About the model]
This model is a plastic model assembly kit that recreates the Sd.Kfz.232, a six-wheeled armored radio vehicle used by the German army during World War II.
The distinctive hull shape, constructed from combined armor plates, is accurately reproduced in two parts, upper and lower.
The hatches on various parts of the vehicle body are separate parts, allowing for a three-dimensional modeling of the details.
- The underside of the chassis includes separate parts for the front and rear leaf springs and the rear two-axle drive shafts. I'm looking forward to the mechanical finish.
Furthermore, the fenders are separate parts, and the cases and on-board tools mounted on various parts of the vehicle body and fenders are also included as separate parts in the set.
The turret on top of the vehicle is accurately modeled, and the hatches can be assembled in either the open or closed position.
The main and secondary armaments, including the barrels and hull, are meticulously reproduced. Even after completion, the turret can rotate and the gun barrel can be moved up and down for added enjoyment.
Furthermore, the frame antenna, which characterizes this vehicle, enhances its mechanical finish.
