This is a 1/72 scale plastic model assembly kit of the F-15J Eagle that participated in the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's goodwill visit to North America and Europe in September 2025.

[About the actual machine]
The F-15J Eagle served as the main fighter aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, protecting the skies of Japan.
The F-15J Eagle is based on the U.S. Air Force's F-15C, which began combat deployment in 1974, and is equipped with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's own unique tactical electronic warfare system, J/TEWS, and an equally unique data link system.
The deployment of the unit began in 1982 and it continues to play a key role in Japan's air defense.
In this context, joint training exercises are being conducted to deepen cooperation and friendship with other countries, and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's first goodwill visit to North America and Europe, the Atlantic Eagles, took place from September 14 to October 1, 2025.
The event was attended by four F-15 fighter jets from the 2nd Air Wing (Chitose Air Base), as well as transport planes and aerial refueling aircraft.
The tour visited air bases in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany to strengthen cooperation with each country.
