This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the Dodge WC54 field ambulance used by the US military during World War II.

[About the actual vehicle]
The WC54 Ambulance is an ambulance version of the Dodge WC series, a 3/4-ton truck that was first introduced in 1942.
The engine is the same 78-inch 6-cylinder side-valve engine as the truck version.
Equipped with high-flotation tires to improve performance on rough roads.
It demonstrated excellent driving performance.
The U.S. military began receiving these wagons in May 1942, and they became affectionately known as "meat wagons."
It could accommodate four wounded soldiers lying on stretchers, or six soldiers sitting up.
The vehicles were adopted not only by the US military but also by the British and Free French forces.
Over 22,000 units were produced in the four years between 1942 and 1945.

This model is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Dodge WC54 Ambulance, a field ambulance developed and operated by the US military during World War II.
- Finished length approximately 140mm.
The chassis features a realistic model of the frame shape, the front and rear suspension systems, and the mechanism of the four-wheel drive drive shaft.
The mechanical underside of the chassis is not to be missed.
The vehicle body accurately reproduces the shape of the cab and the design of the rear cargo area.
The rear door can be assembled in either the open or closed position.
- Details such as the driver's seat and the seats inside the rear cargo area have been faithfully modeled.
One stretcher part is also provided.
