Product Description
--Seibu Railway's New 2000 series trains now feature LED displays.
[Product overview]
The Seibu New 2000 series is a train that debuted in 1988 as an additional unit to the 2000 series.
The exterior of this train was completely redesigned from the previously introduced 2000 series, and it became the representative model of Seibu's commuter trains, forming a large group of 314 cars.
They operate on the Shinjuku Line and Ikebukuro Line in a variety of formations, including 2-car, 4-car, 6-car, and 8-car train sets.
In recent years, some train sets have undergone modernization work, including the closure of pocket windows, removal of some ventilators, replacement with single-arm pantographs, and conversion of destination displays to full-color LEDs, and are still in service.
