The 211 series, which played an active role on the Ueno Line during the Heisei era, even with overnight trains coming and going. It could also be used with Green Cars or as a 15-car train!

[Product Introduction]
We will be producing a model of the 211 series trains that departed from Ueno and were responsible for medium-distance transportation to the Takasaki Line and Tohoku Main Line (Utsunomiya Line).
The 211 series 0 and 2000 series trains, which were introduced on the Tokaido Main Line (Tokyo section), were given a numbering system that added 1000 to indicate their cold-weather specifications. The semi-cross-seat configuration became the 1000 series, and the long-seat configuration became the 3000 series, and these trains debuted in 1985.
In addition to being equipped with snow-resistant brakes, semi-automatic doors, and snowplows, a distinctive feature is the arrangement of the motor car units, consisting of KuMoHa 211 and MoHa 210 types, which is advantageous for shortening the train set in the future.
Until around 2005, these trains operated in formations of 10 to 15 cars, consisting of two or three five-car single-class trains coupled together.
When the 115 series was withdrawn from service in 2004, the Green Cars that became available due to the retirement of the 211 and 113 series on the Tokyo line were repurposed, resulting in a unique basic formation of a 3-car train + 2 Green Cars + 5-car train, with the Green Cars sandwiched between the leading cars.
The 211 series, which supported commuter transport in the Tokyo metropolitan area, is brought back to life in N gauge model form at Ueno Station, the gateway to the north where many overnight trains such as the [Hokutosei], [Cassiopeia], [Akebono], and [Noto] passed through.
Enjoy the 211 series trains from around the time when Green Cars were first introduced on local trains on the Takasaki Line and Tohoku Main Line.

[Product features]
We are producing the C8 formation (5-car basic set/5-car add-on set) and the B2 formation (5-car auxiliary formation set), which included a Green Car and belonged to the Takasaki Rail Yard around 2012.
After the installation of the PS33 single-arm pantograph, the C8 train set can choose between the original skirt and the reinforced skirt. This allows for various time periods to be represented.
5-car basic set (cars 6-10 of the C8 formation): Modeled after the 3000 series (first debt-funded cars of fiscal year 1985) with long seats.
- Reproduces the headlight frame shape of the lead car with large headlights and small taillights, includes beads and stripes on the car end panels, and uses MR161A main resistors (3+3 units).
5-car add-on set (cars 1-5 of C8 formation): Features the 3000 series with long seats (3rd batch of debt-funded cars from fiscal year 1987) + Salo 213 + Salo 210.
- Reproduces the leading car with uniformly shaped headlight/taillight frames, no beads or stripes on the car end panels, and uses MR161 main resistors (6-gang).
- A new double-decker Green Car, the Salo 213, equipped with a toilet and washroom, has been manufactured. The door switches are printed to represent the Salo 213-1000 after modifications for cold climates, and the air conditioner is the AU713A, which was installed after the modifications.
The corresponding Green Car is the single-story Salo 210-1000, and like the Salo 213, the door switches are represented by printing.
5-car auxiliary set (B2 formation: cars 11-15): Modeled after the 1000 series (4th debt-financed cars of 1984) with semi-cross seating.
- Reproduces the leading car with uniformly shaped headlight/taillight frames, no beads or stripes on the car end panels, and includes a circular base for the train radio antenna.
All lead cars come with the original skirts already installed, and the add-on set includes reinforced skirts for replacement, allowing you to recreate your preferred configuration.
Headlights/taillights and front destination display illuminate (with on/off switch, white LEDs used; headlights illuminate in a warm white color).
The slotless motor ensures smooth and quiet operation. The powered car in the 5-car add-on set is not equipped with traction tires, considering coordinated operation.
Both the leading and intermediate coupling ends utilize body-mounted close-coupling couplers (without hooks). A single-stage electrical connector and a body mount for when the train is not coupled are included.
The leading bogie is equipped with a snowplow.
The front display and train number display are pre-installed with [Local]/[875M], and replacements are included: [Rapid], [Commuter Rapid], [(Blank)]/[3553M], [3949M], and [Blank].
